Artist: ANGELIKA WOLYNIEC Age: 32 Born: Szczecin, Poland Presently lives: Lowell, MA
Bio: Graduated Art School in Poland with designing profile. Was studying architecture for four and half years which she didn't graduated in order to move and pursuit her dreams in USA. Have had few exhibits of her oil paintings and photography in her home town and in Boston as well.
Media: oil painting, photography, jewelry made out of polymer clay, metal, stones, glass, fabric, leather, Swarovski crystals, paper and whatever comes to her head.
Artist statement: Art is continuous search for beauty. My work is trying to find it with help of paint, canvas, camera lens or with every day use materials. My imagination is my guide and leads me thru the whole process of my creation. Color, composition and structure are three main elements of my expression. Pieces I create have symbolic meaning between humans mind, body and nature. They are allegories of our dreams, emotions and desires.
